ADMISSION PROCESS – INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

Non-US citizens studying in the United States generally need a student visa. Given events of the recent past, flight training is monitored especially closely. The purpose of your visit determines what visa you will need. Students traveling to the United States for flight training need to apply for a student visa.

You can contact the US embassy in your home country to determine what kind of visa you will need. Below is a list of steps to be followed for enrolling

FOR M1 VISA (CPL Program)

STEP 1: Complete
Enrollment form:

  • Complete the quick I-20 Request Form https://aerotechflightacademy.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/I-20-fillable.pdf
  • Certified Copies of School Certificates of 10 + 2 / Higher Secondary equivalent (If available)
  • Bank statement showing funds of USD 25,000
  • Photocopy of your passport with validity of at least 1 year (.pdf)
  • Soft copy of passport sized photograph
  • Make payment to our US bank account: USD 150 as I-20 processing fee

STEP 2: VISA
APPLICATION

  • Read the FAQ section of SEVIS
  • SEVIS registration is required for all international students going to USA.
  • SEVIS Registration must be complete before applying for Visa.
  • Check the document and photo requirements for visa processing.
  • Fill out the visa form (DS 160) & take an appointment for the
    personal interview https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
  • Receipt of SEVIS payment required forVisa interview.
  • Attend the visa interview and get one step closer to your destination.

STEP 3: OBTAIN YOUR
VISA

  • Obtain your visa from the embassy/consulate nearest to you.
  • Register with TSA for initial stage of flying

IMPORTANT NOTE ON
TSA

Once your admission is accepted, Non-U.S. Citizens have to comply
with TSA regulations and requirements before they can start flight
training in the U.S.

3. Fill Quick I-20 form and pay I-20 fee
4. Register with SEVIS and pay the I-901 fee
5. Submit the I-20 form to apply for M-1 Visa
